Yes! Absolutely. Sure I had some hits and some misses, but overall Im impressed and I understand this brands cult-like following. The only product I tried that I can’t justify at all is the Perfecting Skin Tint, but I have an open mind about some of the other products I was less-than-enthusiastic about. And it seems worth the risk to take the leap on products you’re interested in, considering Glossier’s excellent customer service and generous 30-day return policy for anything you arent satisfied with. The products I do like, I like beyond reproach. I don’t see myself replacing my top three anytime soon and I feel like Glossier is bringing a relaxed and innovative approach to skincare and makeup. I have a love-hate relationship with my skin. Sure, I like the fact that having an oil slick for a face means that Ill probably postpone some wrinkles but I also breakout at the drop of a hat. Is Glossier Skin Tint Good For Oily Skin
The Skin Tint is an oil-free formula. The use of glycerin and silicone-based components ensure that a creamy foundation is provided without a greasy, slick feeling.
Volatile silicone components help the product components that may be greasy to simply evaporate from the skin surface, leaving only the light foundation to disperse and absorb.

I Bought Glossier’s Solution To Clear Up My Acne And It Did The Opposite

Whats In Solution What You Get When You Purchase It And How To Use It:
It has several ingredients that make it great for acne, including the main ingredient salicylic acid, but also contains ingredients that combat redness and help to even out skin tone, she says. It doesnt appear to do much for deep wrinkles, but the lactic acid and glycolic acid are chemical exfoliants that remove surface skin cells and help minimize pores. These same ingredients also potentially help acne by regularly sloughing skin and keeping pores clean. The addition of niacinamide works to decrease redness as an anti-inflammatory. Overall, it seems like a good product, although the irritating ingredients outweigh the number of calming ingredients , so people with sensitive skin should use with caution.
Vivian Bucay, a dermatologist in San Antonio, is also impressed with the acids in the formula, but questions the exact power they can have since the percentages arent listed. I like combination of salicylic acid, lactic acid, glycolic acid, gluconolactone, and phytic acid, says Bucay. But without knowing the pH of this product or the concentration of glycolic acid, its not possible to know how much free acid is available. The amount of free acid will affect how much exfoliation occurs. We checked with Glossier, and they informed us that the pH level of Solution is between 3.5 and 3.9.

Is Glossier Skin Tint Oil
The Skin Tint has been tested oil-free. It does have castor seed oil as one of its ingredients but this is used as an emollient i.e. to enable water and the silicone-based oils to emulsify together.
Castor Oil is also used as a perfuming agent.
Skin Tint does not contain oil as an active ingredient, but only oleaginous or oil-like components that are derived from other ingredients. So it can be safely said to be oil-free.
Skin Tint does not contain any essential oils either.
In addition, the use of alcohol, glycerin, etc. helps dissolve any natural oil derivatives such as castor seed oil extracts or derived ingredients.
It does not cause the skin to become greasier when applied, which indicates the oil-free nature of the product. The glycerin and silicone, in fact, take away the oil from the skin and leave it fresh but moisturized.
